Once upon a time, Grannie Pattie took Torren to visit cousin Agnes Mayes.
When Torren noticed the plants bordering the driveway, he saw they were
thick with long, slender blades. Pointing at these funny leaves he exclaimed,
“Look, Grannie! Noodle garden. Noodles!”
